The play "Boy of Two Hearts" is based on a documentary story of Afghan refugees, depicting a family's journey as they flee Taliban-controlled territories where theatre, music, humor, and women's opinions are forbidden. It tells the story of a mother, father, and three sons who dream of football and cinema, and their adventurous journey, which unfolds for the audience from a safe distance. The performance reflects on growing fears for security and how the story of the Taliban also relates to us. Directed by Viesturs Roziņš, the cast includes Anete Rimkus, Sandis Pēcis, Valts Skuja, Kārlis Ērglis, and Artūrs Irbe.
