What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. Evently uses only cookies that are strictly necessary to run the service or that load after an action you take. We use no advertising or social media tracking of any kind, and our visit statistics come from Plausible Analytics — a privacy-friendly service that works without cookies and stores no personal data. That is why we do not show a cookie consent banner — there is nothing optional to consent to.

Cookies set by Evently

When you sign in, evently.lv sets a session cookie so you stay signed in while you browse. It is essential for the service, is set only after you sign in, and expires with your session.

Cloudflare

Evently is protected and accelerated by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). Cloudflare filters traffic between your browser and evently.lv to block attacks and may set security cookies that tell humans apart from bots. These cookies are strictly necessary.

Google reCAPTCHA

Evently uses Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise (Google Ireland Limited) to protect the service against bots and automated abuse. It is part of Firebase App Check, which confirms that requests to our servers come from the genuine Evently website, so it loads in the background on every page of evently.lv, whether or not you are signed in. It normally runs without showing you a challenge. When you sign in with a phone number, Google reCAPTCHA is also used to verify that you are not a robot before the sign-in code is sent. In both cases it may set cookies and process information about your device, your browser and your interaction with the page (such as mouse movements) to tell humans apart from bots.

Google Maps

Maps on evently.lv are provided by Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited). The venue location on event pages is shown as a static map image that sets no cookies; interactive map features load only when you choose to use them — for example opening the map view or opening a venue in Google Maps.

Managing cookies

You can view, block, and delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of Evently from working — for example staying signed in or completing checkout. See your browser's help pages (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) for instructions.
