In anticipation of significant Latvian national holidays, a concert titled "...PIE LAIKA. Brīvības dziesmas" (Freedom Songs) will take place. The program features beloved songs that were important during the Awakening period and remain legendary, including pieces from the rock opera "Lāčplēsis," patriotic songs by Jānis Lūsēns, Zigmars Liepiņš, Imants Kalniņš, Uldis Marhilevičs, Raimonds Pauls, Juris Kulakovs, and other composers, as well as Latvian folk songs. Performers include the legendary singer IGO, charming soloist AIJA VĪTOLIŅA, and Latvian National Theatre actor GUNDARS GRASBERGS. An excellent backing band, led by musical director Jānis Strazds, will provide accompaniment.
