The “City Outside the Window” exhibition explores the various elements that constitute the city of Cēsis, including its buildings, churches, streets, parks, and natural landscapes. It delves into the vibrant life within the city, shaped daily by its residents, and the historical evolution of its homes, which have been built, cared for, and developed by generations of Cēsis inhabitants. The exhibition aims to narrate the unique character of the city and its people, bridging its past with the present and offering a confident look into the future. It is organized by Cēsu muzejs with support from the State Culture Capital Foundation.
