You are invited to a special festive evening with Santa Šillere's concert program "Jazz and Christmas," celebrating its 5th anniversary. This tradition annually invites listeners to experience the Christmas spirit and beloved melodies in a new jazz sound. The anniversary concert will feature works by Latvian composers such as Raimonds Pauls, Uldis Marhilēvičs, and Imants Kalniņš in new arrangements, world Christmas classics, and original compositions by the musicians. Familiar melodies will meet jazz improvisation, creating a warm and sparkling evening. For the anniversary season, the program's first album is also being released on vinyl. Performing on stage will be Santa Šillere (vocals), Toms Rudzinskis (saxophone), Jānis Pastars (guitar), Atis Andersons (organ), Jānis Rubiks (double bass), and Pauls Ķierpe (drums).
