A hike titled “Beyond the Border – Īle – Pokaiņi, where nature and antiquity meet” will cover approximately 15 km. The route includes interesting historical sites such as Īle church, Spārnu hillfort, Spārnu lake, and Pokaiņi forest. Participants will have the opportunity to recharge at an energy station along the way, and a warm meal will be provided at the finish. Participation in the event is free of charge. The hike is organized by the Zebrene women's association “Dīva” with co-financing from the Dobele municipality Sports Department's project “Beyond the Border”, and Zebrene Library, in cooperation with Zebrene cultural events and the Īle sports organizer.
