The film "Uļa" transports viewers to Latvia in the late 1960s, where a young girl named Uļa, from a remote Old Believer family, navigates the world with her unusual height, seeking her place. A class photograph changes her life, leading her to Riga and the world of professional basketball, where she faces challenges, triumphs, and difficult moments that require her to find self-belief. This is a story about the courage to be different, about big dreams, and about the strength that emerges when one accepts oneself. The screening is supported by "Kinopunkts" and Ventspils novada pašvaldība.
