The Halloween Ghost Run invites participants of all ages to spend an active autumn evening by running, Nordic walking, or walking the distance. The race course is up to two kilometers long, winding through the Valtenberģi Manor Park, along the Kungu paths by the Salaca river, and past city landmarks like the "MAZSALACA" letters and Draudzības pļaviņa. Participants will compete in various age groups, with different completion times ranging from 30 to 60 minutes. All finishers will receive commemorative medals, and the best participants in their age groups will be awarded. A prize draw is also planned after the race. Participants are encouraged to choose weather-appropriate attire suitable for the race, and Halloween-themed decorations or costumes will enhance the event's atmosphere.
