The Latvian rock band “Līvi” celebrates its 50th anniversary with a concert series, offering an emotional journey through the band's history. The concert will feature iconic hits from Latvian rock music's golden era, as well as rarely performed songs such as “Spoku koks”, “Dzezsgriezējs”, “Dzimtā valoda”, “Rožu laukums”, and “Es karājos tavā bizē”. Band leader Ainars Virga and soloist Jānis Buķelis will perform alongside musicians from a symphonic orchestra, including violinists Baiba Lasmane, Agrita Hrustaļova, Ingus Grīnbergs, trumpeters Matīss Smiltiņš and Kristers Ketverts, and trombonist Dāvis Matīss Leišavnieks. This event is more than just a concert; it is a celebration, a collection of memories, and a vibrant rock music energy that unites generations, telling stories of freedom, defiance, love, and staying true to oneself.
