The Tbilisi Theatre Centre presents a guest performance of 'Love That Never Lets Go,' an English comedy in two acts based on Noël Coward's play 'Blithe Spirit,' directed by Avtandil Varsimašvili. This vibrant, witty, and subtly mystical comedy uniquely intertwines reality with the supernatural, creating a captivating theatrical experience. 'Blithe Spirit,' one of Coward's most renowned plays, set a national record in 1941 with 1997 performances, blending the lightness of high society comedy with elements of mysticism. The story follows successful writer Charles Condomine, who accidentally summons the spirit of his first deceased wife, Elvira, during a seance, leading to conflicts with both him and his new wife. The production explores whether love truly never lets go and if coexistence with the past, even in ghost form, is possible.
