Santa Sinka's photography exhibition, titled “Rise Above the Mundane,” showcases emotions captured during sports events and experiences from hot air balloon flights. The artist, Santa Sinka, works for the Smiltene municipality and is passionate about photography, focusing on unrepeatable moments, movement, emotions, people, and their surroundings. The exhibition features sports photography from events such as Gauja Trail by UTMB, the Rīga–Valmiera 107 km ultramarathon, triathlon competitions in Smiltene and Liepāja, “Stirnu buks,” golf, and the Olympic torch journey in Smiltene. Additionally, it presents magical autumn mornings and personal life moments, such as weddings, observed during hot air balloon flights. The exhibition invites visitors to pause, shift their perspective, and discover moments that elevate them above everyday life.
