Meet historian Līva Zolneroviča, author of the book "Hippies in Latvia. 1960s–1990s". The book is a historical study of the hippie movement in Latvia, exploring how youth created an alternative lifestyle, challenged norms, and introduced a different language of freedom within the Soviet Union. It is supplemented with memoirs, interviews, photographs, and stories. This event is part of the "City Stories" discussion series. Attendees are invited to bring photographs and share their own stories and memories about the hippie era in Liepāja.
