As part of the Nordic Days, the closing event of the "Liepāja Future Districts Challenge" will take place, where the best urban development concepts will be awarded. This initiative by the Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Latvia aims to find solutions for undeveloped areas in regional cities. Sixty architecture students from four Latvian universities will participate, presenting their ideas. The event will be opened by Gunārs Ansiņš, Chairman of the Liepāja City Council, and Nina Hvid Enevoldsen, Director of the Nordic Council of Ministers' Office in Latvia, with former Copenhagen City Architect Tina Saaby also attending.
