Fourth-year students from Jānis Rozentāls Art School will unveil the second and final phase of their "Bird Garden" mural. Initiated in spring 2025 as part of the school's 80th anniversary, the project has been expanded this year with new paintings and audio stories about the depicted birds, created by experts from the Latvian Ornithological Society. These audio stories will be accessible via QR codes. The mural's concept was developed by student Kate Minkeviča, who also oversaw its realization. Students worked under the guidance of educators Vita Jurjāne and Vladislavs Rublis. This project is a collaboration with the Culture Department of Riga City Council's Education, Culture and Sports Department, serving as a platform for young artists to express themselves creatively in the urban environment.
