The Valmiera Book Club invites you to an Open Mic event, a literary gathering where everyone can share a meaningful text by reading it aloud or simply listen to others' readings. This event offers an opportunity to step beyond the usual reading experience, discover new authors, and share words that resonate, inspire, or move. Participants are encouraged to bring a poem, prose fragment, book chapter excerpt, short story, or their own written work. There's no need to be a professional; the most important aspect is the desire to share and be present. Everyone who loves reading and literature is welcome, regardless of age or experience.
