You are invited to a special concert dedicated to the choral music of two prominent Latvian composers, Agris Engelmanis and Imants Kalniņš. Attendees will hear beloved and significant songs by both composers, blending Latvian choral traditions, poetic depth, and emotionally rich sound. The concert will feature the Liepāja Folk Art and Culture Centre's mixed choirs "Līva" and "Laiks", women's choir "Aija", Saldus mixed choir "Saldava", Jūrmala mixed choir "Vaivari", Nīca men's choir "Nīca", and the Liepāja Music, Art and Design Secondary School Girls' Choir. Soloists will be Ieva Dreimane-Sidare and TIPA, with an instrumental group comprising Normunds Kalniņš, Miks Akots, Raitis Eleris, and Gatis Jugāns, and a performance by Kurland Quintet. The concert will be hosted by actors Karīna Tatarinova and Viktors Ellers, with Jēkabs Ozoliņš as artistic director and conductor.
