Through songs and stories, gratitude will be expressed for the heritage left by ancestors, sharing experiences and ensuring the continuity of generational wisdom. Everyone is welcome to participate, bringing outdoor candles to collectively brighten this special moment. In Latvia, October has long been associated with the time of spirits, when ancestors were honored with special rituals, feasts, and songs, believing that the spirits would bring blessings to the homestead. Traditions evolve, but their essence remains constant: gratitude to ancestors.
