The final of the Latvian Vocal Ensembles Competition will bring together 23 of the best amateur vocal ensembles in Latvia. During the event, women's vocal ensembles will perform starting at 12:00, followed by performances from men's and mixed vocal ensembles at 16:30, with the announcement of results scheduled for 19:00. Each ensemble will present three a cappella compositions by Latvian composers, including a sacred music piece, a secular piece or a folk song arrangement, and a free-choice piece. The jury will consist of vocal art experts such as Mārīte Puriņa, Jānis Strazdiņš, Jēkabs Jančevskis, Irīna Mihailovska, and Dita Kalniņa. The competition aims to preserve and develop vocal ensemble traditions, with a special emphasis on a cappella performance, which is a significant part of the Song and Dance Festival tradition.
