The NGO House invites representatives of Riga's non-governmental organizations to an online seminar on insurance in volunteer work and event organization. The seminar will be led by Inese Šubēvica, an experienced volunteer work organizer and expert. Its goal is to provide practical understanding of the necessity of insurance, risk assessment, and various insurance types to protect the interests of volunteers and organizations. Participants will gain knowledge about legal regulations, practical insurance cases, and resource mobilization for covering costs, as well as learning from other organizations' experiences. This seminar is beneficial for NGOs already engaging in volunteer work and event planning, as well as those intending to do so.
