NGO House invites representatives of Riga's non-governmental organizations (associations and foundations) to an online seminar titled "NGO Legal Guide: From Foundation to Re-registration of Changes." The seminar will cover the two legal forms for non-governmental sector work, the process of establishing a legal entity, required documents, and their submission to the Register of Enterprises. It will also explain how to proceed if statutes no longer align with operations, how to re-register changes in board composition or a board member's status, how to properly convene annual and extraordinary member meetings, and address the issue of beneficial owners. The session will be led by lecturer Kitija Kalsnava from the Faculty of Social Sciences at Rīga Stradiņš University, who has been an NGO consultant since 2012. Registration for the seminar is required.
