The “Procurement Forum 2026” and its conference “Procurement in the New Playing Field” is Latvia's largest public procurement industry event, gathering over 550 professionals, experts, policymakers, and representatives from state, local government, and businesses. The event focuses on changes in public procurement regulations and their impact, discussing the practical implementation of reforms. The forum's theme encourages viewing changes through a sports analogy, emphasizing the opportunities provided by new rules, fair competition, and resources for achieving quality results. Discussions will cover the shift from formal procedures to outcomes, the use of data, technology, and artificial intelligence, as well as competencies and teamwork.
