Sculptor Anna Egle's solo exhibition "Saules pinums" (Sun Braid) presents her latest sculpture series, where abstract, symbolically precise, and subconscious forms intertwine. The works draw inspiration from the aesthetics of Latvian folk songs (dainas), Latvian nature, and the human body, continuing the artist's "Trejdeviņi" (Thrice Nine) sculpture cycle with themes of connection, intertwining, and wholeness. The exhibition is structured as a multi-layered narrative across three spatial zones – two indoor spaces and an outdoor area – each focusing on different themes such as treasures, experiences, origins, and intergenerational connections. The central motif, the "sun braid," symbolizes the interconnectedness of human feelings, experiences, memories, and origins.
