About The Experience

The song story "Pasaule, pasaulīt" is a tribute to Boris Reznik, a pioneer of Latvian pop music, composer, and founder of the group "Eolika". This work, originally created eighteen years ago, is revived with new voices and a contemporary feel, while retaining its initial message. The narrative explores the maximalism, love, friendship, and ambitions of young people in 1980s Riga, questioning whether dreams can withstand the test of time. Libretto author and director Valdis Pavlovskis emphasizes the timelessness of the songs. The main roles are performed by Dagnis Roziņš, Linn (Linda Rušeniece), Eduards Rediko, Estere Tauriņa, Toms Kursītis, and Beate Megija Baranovska, supported by other actors and an eight-member dance group. Mārcis Auziņš is the musical director, and Juris Gogulis is the choreographer.
