The final event in the "Next Frame" series at the Siguldas DEVONS Culture Centre invites children, young people, and families to explore the world of animation. The event will feature a screening of Edmunds Jansons' animated film "Laimīgie" (The Lucky Ones), which tells the story of a brother and sister's adventures in the Venezuelan jungle to save a creature called Pūkainītis. Before the film, there will be a meeting and discussion with the film's artist, Elīna Brasliņa, who will share insights into the artist's role and sources of inspiration in creating animated films. After the screening, Elīna Brasliņa will lead a creative workshop where participants will learn about the animals inhabiting the Venezuelan jungle. Elīna Brasliņa is a renowned book illustrator and animation film artist, a multiple laureate of national book art competitions.
