Cēsu Theatre invites you to the chamber play “sieviŠĶĪBAS DEJAS” (FEMININE DANCES), based on Rita Lūriņa's stories from her books “Vējmalas stāsti” and “Dejo”. The performance will take place in the Choreography Hall of Koncertzāle “Cēsis”, an unusual venue for audiences but one regularly used for the theatre's rehearsals. The stories are about Liepāja, filled with feminine warmth, poignancy, joy, and everyday feelings, promising a deeply immersive experience and surprises. The cast includes Cēsu Theatre actresses Ilze Jansone, Madara Ozoliņa, Vēsma Lukstiņa, Inuta Briede or Iveta Gabrāne, Laine Zālīte or Laila Sproģe, Jana Kļaviņa, Inese Romka, Dzintra Dambe, Lauma Daugiša or Iveta Daiga, Dace Lezdiņa, Zinta Būda or Īrisa Uldriķe. The director is Edīte Siļķēna, with lighting design by Normunds Bērziņš.
