The group “Very Cool People” will perform a concert dedicated to the music of the legendary group “ODIS” and Arnis Mednis's 65th birthday. The concert will feature Arnis Mednis himself, the leader of “ODIS,” playing keyboards and vocoder. “Very Cool People” will present “ODIS” compositions in new arrangements, honoring the pioneers of Latvian funk and soul music. This program is part of a new series of major concerts, with the song “Radio,” created in collaboration with Intars Busulis and Daniela Mase, serving as a preview. Group leader Elvijs Grafcovs explains that the idea for this program emerged from a meeting with Arnis Mednis, offering an opportunity to focus on Latvian music after their previous “Funkology” program, which featured international repertoire.
