The State Blood Donor Center invites residents of Dobele and its surroundings to participate in a Blood Donor Day. Donating blood can save lives and takes very little time. Donors should feel healthy, well-rested, and have eaten, and must bring a valid identification document and bank account number to receive state compensation. It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids and avoid fatty foods and alcohol before donating. Donors must be between 18 and 65 years old and weigh at least 50 kg.
