The State Blood Donor Center (VADC) is organizing an outreach blood donation day. Potential donors are asked to bring a passport, eID card, or any other identification document, as well as their bank account number. To ensure the suitability of blood for transfusion, it is important to consume a healthy diet and at least 1.5 liters of fluids the day before and on the day of donation, avoiding fatty, fried, or spicy foods, alcohol, and medications, including aspirin. Individuals between 18 and 65 years old with a body weight over 50 kg are eligible to donate blood. It is not advisable to donate blood after a night shift, stressful work, or emotional distress. Adhering to these guidelines helps ensure that patients receive high-quality donor blood components.
