The traditional "Freedom Trail" hike in Liepāja's Karosta invites participants to explore the history of Latvia's Freedom Fights. This approximately 6 km long hike is suitable for the whole family and will lead through Karosta forest, the seashore, the Fortress Canal, and allow participants to see military heritage from the Tsarist and Soviet eras, including the Karosta and Independence War Museum in Redāns. After the hike, warm soup and tea will be provided, and the event will conclude with lighting candles at the "Freedom" symbol in Redāns. Participation requires a fee and advance registration.
