The poetry concert “Nazis sirdī iestrēdzis” (Knife Stuck in the Heart) merges the existentially rich poetry of Spanish poet Federico García Lorca with the music of legendary Latvian singer-songwriter Haralds Sīmanis. This production creates an emotionally powerful narrative about love, solitude, fate, life, and death, blending influences from Andalusia, Romani culture, and world music. It is a contemporary interpretation of the 1980s staging “Kliedziens” (The Scream), preserving the original emotional intensity and Sīmanis's unique musical power. On stage, Lorca's poetry, actors' voices, music, and movement converge into a unified whole. The performance features actors Guna Zariņa and Gerds Lapoška, musicians Ilze Grunte, Andris Grunte, and Zane Šmite, and artist and cellist Dace Ignatova.
