The play "Purva bridējs ugunī" is not a tale of the perils of drinking or blind love, but rather a story about insatiable thirst that affects all characters. It centers on a girl loved by two men: one stable and normal, the other thirsty and abnormal. Although she loves the abnormal man more, she is inclined to marry the stable one. After a trial period proposed by the abnormal man, which ultimately fails, the girl returns to the stable man. However, on the eve of her wedding, the abnormal man reappears and once again wins her over. The play is directed by Regnārs Vaivars, and features performances by Agnese Jēkabsone, Gints Grāvelis, Sandis Pēcis, Karīna Tatarinova, Signe Dancīte, Edgars Pujāts, Kaspars Kārkliņš, and Viktors Ellers.
