The Vidzeme Committee of the Latvian Red Cross invites residents of Smiltene municipality to Health Days, offering free checks of basic health indicators, express tests, and brief medical consultations. Attendees can have their blood pressure and pulse measured, blood oxygen levels determined with a pulse oximeter, and cholesterol and blood sugar levels checked. Weight, height, and body mass index will also be assessed. Additionally, anonymous and confidential express tests for hepatitis B and C, HIV, and syphilis will be available, with pre- and post-test consultations provided. For more accurate test results, it is recommended to have only a light breakfast or fast for three hours before testing. No prior registration is required for participation.
