The Preiļi History and Applied Arts Museum offers activities in November dedicated to Latvian history, traditions, and patriotism. Students and other interested individuals are invited to participate in educational sessions to explore Latvia's state symbols, history, and cultural heritage. Creative activities for students from grades 1 to 9 are available in conjunction with the exhibitions “Cilvēka bērns Jānis Streičs” and “Cimdu mežs”, featuring themes such as “Give a home to a mitten!”, “Painting and mitten montage”, and “Cinema frame manifesto”. The “Hour for Latvia” program will help students learn about national symbols and prepare for celebrations. A patriotic team game “For Latvia – with mind, strength, and heart!” will also be held for 7th-9th grade students. Mandatory registration is required to participate in these activities.
