Daugavpils will host a vibrant and emotionally rich flamenco evening featuring the avant-garde dance troupe “Puerto Flamenco” from Seville. This troupe blends authentic Andalusian flamenco with contemporary stage direction and an original artistic vision, preserving the soul and emotional power of flamenco. Their performances are characterized by untamed energy, improvisational freedom, virtuosity, and emotional intensity, offering a captivating journey into the world of Spanish culture, rhythm, and passion. The troupe comprises outstanding Seville flamenco artists, including dancers Antonio Molina “El Choro”, Abel Harana, and Antonio Castro “Antoñete”, singers Jesús Corbacho and Encarnita Anillo, guitarist Ruben Romero, and leaders Francesca “La Chica” and percussionist Andrej Vujicic. They have performed at prestigious festivals and concert halls worldwide.
