The pre-Christmas concert "Two Big Bands – One Christmas Story" will feature the "Sigulda" Big Band and the Mõisaküla Big Band from Estonia. The "Sigulda" Big Band, established in 1958, comprises 18 musicians and soloists Inese Greste, Daiga Krontāle, and Raimonds Eizenšmits, led by conductor Arnis Šmitiņš. The Mõisaküla Big Band, the sole jazz orchestra in the Mulgimaa region, will perform with four vocalists: Kristiina Kanep, Piret Veevo, Raul Horn, and Saskia Oja. This concert offers an opportunity to experience the convergence of different generations and musical backgrounds, uniting the audience with jazz energy and a festive pre-Christmas atmosphere.
