Violinist Ilze Kirsanova and pianist Tatjana Čigorskaja invite you to a musical journey titled “Only Girls in Jazz,” where jazz will be revealed in various colors and moods. The program promises elegance, sparkling rhythms, and musical surprises, exploring jazz's presence in Bach's music, ragtime rhythms, Ellington and Desmond standards, Gershwin's opera, as well as waltzes, blues, and rumba. The evening will also feature the glamour of Hollywood and Broadway with melodies by Mancini, Chaplin, and “Hello, Dolly!”. This musical adventure into the 20th-century world will see the concert stage meet the dance hall and cinema screen, creating an atmosphere full of freedom, elegance, and humor. A beautifully decorated Christmas tree, elegant dresses, and an uplifted mood will add a special festive feeling to the evening.
