The exhibition “Mycelia. Organic Connections.” presents new works by the international art group “Mycelia.” This group brings together female artists from Germany and Latvia who collaborate based on principles of sisterhood and mutual support, using the metaphor of mycelium – an invisible underground network. The exhibition features 10 artists, including Karina Frēliha, Patrīcija Linke, Penelope Richardson, Sabīne Šlunka, Silke Bahmane from Germany, and Laura Feldberga, Ingrīda Pičukāne, Sandra Strēle, Izolde Cēsniece, Anna Auziņa from Latvia. The works are united by a desire to broaden the perception of the world, posing questions and emphasizing listening, exploration, and attention. The artists' presence and their bodies play a significant role in the content and form of the works, modeling an inclusive world characterized by openness, tolerance, and joy in shared experiences.
