The traditional "Barona svētdiena" (Baron's Sunday) will take place to commemorate Krišjānis Barons, the "Father of Dainas," a Latvian folklorist, writer, and publicist, for his contribution to preserving Latvian cultural heritage. This year's event theme is "In My Yard, In My Garden."
