Young people are invited to a meeting with Dāvids Rubens, the chairman of the Līvāni municipality council, as part of the "Politician in a T-shirt" discussion series. The event aims to introduce young people to the municipal leader's professional experience and personality in an informal setting, fostering interest in public processes and local government work. Dāvids Rubens will share his journey to becoming council chairman, the challenges and responsibilities of municipal leadership, and his interests outside of work duties. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, engage in discussion, gain insight into the specifics of municipal work, and better understand decision-making processes and their participation opportunities.
