Percussionist Marta Kauliņa-Pelnēna and the string quartet "Berči" present a concert program celebrating music born in Latvia and aiming to evoke a sense of presence. The program includes works by Rihards Dubra, Georgs Pelēcis, and Pēteris Vasks. The concert will feature the premiere of Rihards Dubra's new work "Tauriņi vējā" for vibraphone and string quartet, commissioned by Marta Kauliņa-Pelnēna. Dubra's earlier opus "Magnolija" for solo vibraphone will also be performed. The combination of string quartet, vibraphone, and marimba will create a wonderfully beautiful atmosphere.
