The concert performance "The Snow Queen" is based on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale, telling the story of a boy named Kai whose heart turns cold after a shard of a mirror enters it, leading the Snow Queen to take him to her ice kingdom. Gerda embarks on a journey to rescue Kai, receiving help from the Robber Girl and the Reindeer, and ultimately, as in all fairy tales, good triumphs over evil. The performance features singers Evija Martinsone as the Snow Queen, Eduards Rediko as Kai, and Agate Grīnhofa as Gerda. Mārcis Vasiļevskis plays the guitarist for the Reindeer, while students from RDKS portray the Devil and the Robber Girl, and dancers from "Ritms" studio perform as Flowers and Owls. Musicians Pēteris Vaickovskis on harpsichord and Raimonds Melderis on violin also participate, with Karina Bērziņa as the storyteller.
