The performance "Christmas Tale," based on Margarita Stāraste's fairy tale "Why the Snow Sparkles," invites audiences aged 2 and up to a gnome village in Zvārguļu grava. Three gnomes – Zilcepuris, Zaļcepuris, and Brūncepuris – are preparing for Christmas, but their dissatisfaction with the snow and frost causes Father Frost and Mother Snow to leave, plunging the village into a thaw. The gnomes realize their mistake, apologize, and with the help of the Little Star, restore winter's magic and the joy of the holidays. The play is directed by Ģirts Šolis, with scenography by Ivonna Kalita, music by Mikus Frišfelds, and features Madara Enkuzena, Vija Mežale, and Denisa Braša in the cast.
