The “bet bet” group’s 35th-anniversary concert tour continues with a performance featuring beloved songs such as “Nepārmet man”, “Mazs cinītis”, “Mežrozīte”, “Mēmā dziesma”, “Dziesmiņa par dzīvošanu”, “Kamēr svecītes deg”, “Vasara nebeigsies nekad”, and others. The program also includes compositions from Raimonds Pauls and Jānis Peters’ song cycle “Pērļu zvejnieks”, as well as newly learned legendary songs “Laternu stundā” and “Viss nāk un aiziet tālumā”. Several songs with lyrics by group member Guntars Račs are also included. The musicians emphasize that Raimonds Pauls’ music has always held a special place in their repertoire, and their version of “Mēmā dziesma” is one of the most frequently played songs on Latvian radio stations. The concerts promise to be melodic, energetic, and emotional, offering an encounter with time-tested classics of Latvian popular music.
