The Zaļenieki Parish Amateur Theatre presents the premiere of Gunārs Priede's play "Centrifūga," directed by A. Bolmanis. Written in 1984 and inspired by true events and the author's family experiences, the play explores human destinies during the late autumn of 1944 in Kurzeme, as World War II draws to a close. The narrative extends to March 1949 and concludes in the autumn of 1966. It is a poignant story about humanity and the choices people make in difficult circumstances, likening war to a centrifuge that separates individuals, yet emphasizing that life is not always black and white. A cafe named "Zanes kūkas" will be open during the intermission.
