About The Experience

Residents are invited to an afternoon of stories and discussions about intersecting discrimination, featuring personal experiences from individuals who have faced discrimination due to age, gender, or disability. The event aims to foster a better understanding of fellow citizens and the unseen barriers and difficulties they encounter daily. It will be structured as a "living library," where two community members will share their stories of intersecting discrimination in areas such as the job market, access to services, cultural events, education, or social interactions. Following this, participants will engage in dialogue circles to explore what discrimination is, how it develops, and what each person can do to reduce or prevent such situations. The event is free of charge and is part of the Ministry of Welfare's "Nolaid slieksni" campaign.
