Valmiera Municipality, in collaboration with the Valmiera Region Fund, the State Fire and Rescue Service, and the State Police, is organizing a series of civil defense training sessions titled "Learn! Prepare! Act!". The goal of these nine meetings is to provide residents with practical advice and information on how to respond in various crisis situations. Participants will learn about civil defense organization in the region, how to set up a safe shelter, prepare 72-hour emergency supplies, foster cooperation within families and with neighbors, avoid fraud, and receive information during crises. During the training, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions to specialists, participate in a raffle for useful civil defense items, and receive informational materials.
