The Sigulda DEVONS Culture Center will screen director Laila Pakalniņa's documentary feature film "I'm Thinking of a Cat". The film is a cinematic poem created using photo negatives from 1968–1978, discovered in a waste container. It's a recollection of strangers' memories, imagining the thoughts and feelings of an unknown photographer named Anton and the people he photographed. The film tells the story of Anton, who photographed various subjects, and his son Raitis, who continued his father's passion. The film's concept originated from discarded photo films that preserved moments in time. The film runs for 83 minutes, is a Latvian production, and is suitable for viewers aged 12 and older. Laila Pakalniņa is the director and screenwriter, Gints Bērziņš is the cinematographer, Juris Pakalniņš is the artist, Anrijs Krenbergs is the sound director, and Ieva Veiveryte is the editor.
