Barry Creyton's play “Dubultspēle” (Double Play) is a witty, bittersweet comedy in two acts about a divorced couple, George and Alexandra, who meet five years after their separation. Their encounter is filled with sharp compliments, old resentments, and mutual provocations, quickly leading to a compromising situation. Despite their desire to destroy each other, a lingering feeling suggests their story isn't over, and the tempting allure to continue what they once started proves stronger than common sense, drawing them into the realm of a second chance. The play explores whether a second chance in a relationship is truly possible and if the past can be left behind. The roles are performed by Inga Misāne-Grasberga, Gundars Grasbergs, and Mārtiņš Počs, with added intrigue as the lead actors are a married couple off-stage.
