The performance "Latvian Rockets" is the "Spēlmaņu nakts" (Latvian Theatre Award) Production of the Year in the large-scale format, offering insight into the history of Latvian bobsleigh. Director Regnārs Vaivars created it by interviewing 21 individuals connected to bobsleigh, presenting his perspective on the events. The director emphasizes that the show is not about sports but about Latvian men – "Lāčplēši" (bear-slayers) – national heroes. It is a documentary epic about heroes for the Latvian nation and a tribute to the late Rolands Upatnieks, who in the 1980s formed the USSR bobsleigh team, which was 95 percent Latvian. The cast includes Mārtiņš Kalita, Valts Skuja, Kārlis Artejevs, Artūrs Irbe, Kārlis Ērglis, Hugo Puriņš, Armands Kaušelis, Kaspars Kārkliņš, and Sandis Pēcis.
