A State holiday celebration will take place in Salacgrīva, featuring a festive speech by Sigita Upmale, Chair of the Limbaži Municipality Council, and the presentation of the “Person of the Year” award. The program includes a concert titled “Viena zeme, viena dziesma,” with performances by the mixed choir IKŠĶILE, conducted by Māris Sirmais, and the Liepupe Culture House mixed choir PERNIGELE, conducted by Arta Zunde. Zane Jančevska will host the evening. Following the main program, a festive ball will be held with music provided by the group “Tutti-Frutti.” Admission to the event is free of charge. Table reservations for the ball can be made at the culture center until November 13th.
